Jennifer Knighton was born in 1943 in Blakely, Georgia. 

The grandmother of three teens, Jennifer started painting after she bartered away some old metal toys in exchange for a pickup truck load of canvases.  Finding inspiration in the flowers she grows, she spends most days sketching and painting from a small guest house situated in the middle of her gardens.  With a bachelor's degree from Georgia College, Jennifer taught elementary school in Early, Gordon and Hart Counties.
